The ESCAPE backpacks have the ABS sytem fully integrated within them .

You will receiveTWO Release Units, one for training and practice which is REFUNDABLE for £50 once returned to us .

It is imperative that you practice with the Airbag and activate it once as when you return the warranty you must fill in the questionnaire and return it : that will keep your warranty valid .

Thereafter you need to practise yearly to retain the warranty

Practice Activation

We want you to be 100% comfortable with the ABS-System, hence the practicse activation unit . Activate at least 1 metre from people or objects , the activation force equals 8kg and the airbags will inflate within 2 to 3 seconds .

Filling Procedure : within approx 1 second 90 litres of gas-air mix is forced into the two airbags and then the remaining 80 litres within the next 1.5 seconds ( depending on outside temperature and elevation )

Catridges : Are made from a special and highly durable steel alloy with an allowable pressure of 300 bar . They comply with EC Directive 1999/36EC . The cartridge can only be refilled at ABS .
