Every member of the Ortovox Woman Performance Line has a feminine cut and female specific belt and carry system. The Peak II Woman promises to remove back and neck pain from long tours.
Jointly developed with Sport Physicians at the Munich Back Centre, the Peak II Woman minimizes the load on the back.
The ergonomic design incorporates an S-shaped shoulder belt and specially designed hip belt, relieving the shoulders by transferring weight to the pelvic bone. As well as this, the standard Peak II back length has been specially adapted for the female anatomy.
The
O-Flex-Frame is a flexible 3-d back system that can be individually ajusted. The frame holds the backpack to the body whilst allowing freedom of movement when climbing or descending. It also provides optimum ventilation.
Skis or a snowboard can be attached to the side of the pack using Clip Fix buckles.
The top loading main compartment is secured with a snow flap and toggle system along with a compression belt. There is an elastic cord on the top of the pack which could be used for storing a helmet or other items. The pack also provides a loop for your ice axe or poles.
The hip belt offers another loop which could be used to attach crampons or rope as well as a further pocket for quick access to small items such as a compass.
There are extra, easy access compartments for your emergency equipment too. The bottom compartment is ideal for a first aid kit while the spacious front pocket accommodates probe and shovel. The adjustable chest strap also includes an integrated signal whistle.
And there is still room to fit in an optional Hydration System if you need to!
