This pack offers low-volume for all your essentials and a range of exterior carrying features such as your skis, snowboard and avy shovel. The Dakine Heli Pack 12L has 1 main compartment in which you can store a small spare layer, pack lunch and any small accessories you may carry.
Access to the main compartment can be done via the front, this will give you quicker access to the shovel and probe pocket, its recommended that you stow your shovel on the outside of the pack
Vertical Snowboard Carry is implemented to the front of the backpack.
D-Skifix will allow you to carry your skis diagonally across the pack.
External Shovel Carry will allow you to stow your shovel on the outside of your pack for quicker access in an emergency
Sternum straps allow you to offset the load of the backpack.
25 mm web belt with hip wings give you maximum comfort.

The Dakine Heli Pack 12L is ideal for those who like to spend there days just outside the piste boundaries or Air enthusiasts who enjoy building jumps in the backcountry. This pack can also be used for days on the piste.
The Fit :
Due to the Dakine Heli Pack 12L being very lightweight, the pack has a very slimline fit and is sometimes unnoticeable when skiing around all day. The 25 mm web belt with hip wings allow a body hugging fit.
If your Dakine bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.
