The deluxe Pieps DSP Sport Package includes some of Pieps' latest and most advanced equipment. This avalanche safety package is designed to keep you as safe as possible whilst engaged in alpine pursuits.
The Pieps DSP Sport is the dynamic, 3 antenna device for the young freeriding generation.
The long range, one single button and intelligent transmitting system provide the best support in any situation.
The Pieps DSP Sport transceiver comes with a harness case, hand loop and is delivered with batteries already inserted.
With a maximum range of 50m and smart 3 antennae this simple to use transceiver is highly anticipated to the market.
This transceiver comes with a function called “Old Device mode” which means your Pieps DSP sport will recognise Elder transceivers that have a continuous signal which normally has a negative effect on the ‘Mark’ function.
The next generation of Pieps Transceivers is designed to work alongside the iProbe which will take over in receiving the next strongest signal at the probing stage.
The DSP Sport features the patented triple antenna transceiver combined with advanced digital abilities such as transceiver counting and multiple burial indications in order to rescue buried companions quickly and efficiently.
With its intelligent transmitter (capable of altering your signal timing to avoid overlap with other signals), direction/distance information displayed from the start and different modes to address different situations, the PIEPS DSP makes an ideal tool for experienced users.
Pieps Probe Aluminium 220
The Pieps Aluminium Probe is designed to confirm and pinpoint an avalanche victim's location. The probe incorporates a quick-closing latch for efficient assembly and the tubes are a special aluminium alloy in two colours, which makes it a steady, sturdy choice for any avalanche rescue.
With a length of 220 cm, this probe weighs only 260 g, meaning it barely makes a dent in overall pack weight.
The probe is made of 6 sections and collapses down to measure 40 cm in order to save you some space in your pack. It also features a special speed-cone for a quick and effortless extension.
In addition, the probe is adorned with a centimetre scale which is useful for accurately estimating the victim's position and gauging the best angle to dig from.
In an emergency, only one thing counts unconditional, hands-on reliability!
To live up to this challenge, Pieps collaborates with mountain guides, mountain rescue teams, ski instructors and scientists during product development. Pieps Shovel Tour
The small and lightweight Pieps Tour Shovel is the perfect shovel for ski tours in low and high mountain regions. It has an ergonomic shape, special heat-treated aluminium alloy and a unique coating which ensures extreme durability as well as the lowest possible weight.
A T-grip makes this shovel suitable for left or right handed users, and the flanged blade ensures that this shovel clears as much snow as possible when in use.
This shovel has its own place in the special safety gear compartment in every Pieps backpack, and the handle and shaft detach for ease of storage.
