The Scott Backcountry Pro AP 20 Kit is designed for the weight conscious Freeriders who love heading out on heli trips, freeriding, and out-the-gate resort skiing. The pack gives you total freedom of movement and is a hardwearing backpack to store all of your avy essentials.
The lightweight Scott Backcountry Pro AP 20 kit is designed to give you total freedom of movement when skiing long days off-piste, this backpack will allow you to twist and turn in the backcountry whilst giving you a body-hugging fit, the wide hip belts and a sternum strap keeps the backpack very close to the body. The leg strap will keep the pack on your back in any avalanche situations
Scott Backcountry Pro AP 20 Activation:
When wearing your Scott Backcountry Pro AP 20 Airbag System you must make sure that all of your straps are securely fastened and the activation handle is adjusted to the correct height.
Correctly Installing the Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System: Put the Airbag through the Hole. Insert all Four Hooks, do not twist or do not cross the hooks. Make sure the airbag is correctly folded ensuring that the left-hand side of the airbag has to overlay the right side. Make sure airbag is securely fastened into the backpack and all zips are securely fastened
Correctly Mounting the Activation Handle: Open the backpack and insert the trigger into the shoulder strap, turn up the handle to change the height position and clip it on the shoulder strap webbing.
Correctly Attaching the Scott Cartridge Set (CO2 + ARGON): Ensure your handle is in an upright position. Turn the screw to load the inflator system and unscrew to remove the tool. Screw in the carriage in a clockwise direction. Make sure the strap is always well tightened. The system is ready to use when the red pin is no longer visible.
How To Wear the Backpack Correctly: Make sure the leg strap, Chest Strap and Hip Belt is securely fastened, This should fit tight to the body, the backpack has been designed to give you a body-hugging fit
Activating The Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System:
In the case of an avalanche, pull down firmly on the activation handle to activate the Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System, This will inflate the 150l Airbag system in around 3 seconds.

Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System
The Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System is a completely new innovation to the airbag market. Made up of Nylon 210D Cordura Oxford fabric the airbag is extremely durable, super lightweight (340 g) and very compact when folded into the Scott Backcountry Pro AP 20. The 150-litre airbag inflates in around 3 seconds and will keep you above the snow in an emergency avalanche situation.
The Scott Alp Ride 2.0 Airbag System can be simply and quickly removed and inserted into a different size Scott AP compatible backpack
