How does the Search work?

The Diract voice is the first avalanche transceiver with integrated voice navigation by Ortovox, clear simple instructions support you in every search phase and provide calm and clarity when your partners survival is of utmost importance.

How does being Found Work?

Ortovox have integrated patented Smart Antenna Technology into the direct. It analyses the device location in the avalanche and provides you with double support, it improves transmission performance after the avalanche stops, while on the other it automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. This means you get to double the range and are easier to find.
