You can perfectly Adapt your shovelling strategy and save important time thanks to the clear 1m marker, Contrasting Depth Scale and Colourful End Segments. The bottommost segments in neon orange indicate when you are approaching the victim.

The quick-assembly strap makes immediate Opening and Assembly possible In One Motion, without first having to take the probe out of its cover.

Material Properties

Probe Poles Material - 7075 Aluminium T6 - Light and stiff and thus the aluminium of choice for all aluminium probes. Ortovox uses different tube diameters between 11 and 13 mm- meaning: the thicker the diameter, the heavier and stiffer the probe.
Probe Tensioning System - Aramid - Aramid fibres proving high ridgity, robustness and stability with limited stretching, making them ideal for a tension system.
