Ortovox Back System Overview

O-flex-2-back system

O-flex-2-back system

The backpack adapts to the natural S-shape of the spine through a Predetermined Curvature of the back system and ensures that the backpack closely Surrounds The Back.

You can find this O-Flex Frame 2 backsystem on the following Packs:

  • Haute Route 32 / 30 S
  • Haute Route 40 / 38 S

The weight load is held close to the body‘s centre of gravity and provides optimum support when carrying heavy loads.

The Soft Padding in an „O“ shape on the entire back surface with a recess in the area of the spine ensures high wearing comfort during heavy activity.

Full-Contact-Light-Back-System

Full-Contact-Light-Back-System

The 3D foam back system is simultaneously Light and Stable. This back system Distributes Load Evenly between the hip fins and the slightly padded shoulder straps.

The back system is used in the following packs:

  • Powder Rider 16
  • Crossrider 22 / 20 S
  • Tour Rider 30 / 28 S

Swisswool-Tec-Knit Back System

Swisswool-Tec-Knit Back System

In the Swisswool-Tec-Knit Back System Ortovox combine foam and pressed swiss wool covered with a High-Tech Knitted Fabirc with varying breathability.

In areas with lots of back contact, we have used Swisswool® Pads with more breathability. That means that the wool can absorb moisture (sweat) much faster and is simultaneously More Breathable and Feels Dry on your back – even during sweat-inducing climbs.

Ortovox have placed foam in areas with less back contact to offer more Stability and better Wear Comfort.

The Full Contact Back fits closely to the body and offers optimum weight distribution.

The back design consists of three aluminum stays that offer High Stability and gaurentee Great Comfort even when the backpack

High-Flex-Contact Back System

The back system for our Climbing Series offers a lightweight, Removable Aluminium Frame and a Full-Contacy Carrying System.
