The Fit:
A Full Contact Light back system with a stabilizer provides a comfortable fit and great control even with heavier loads, while the hip belt will optimally distribute the heaviest of weights. This high alpine touring backpack will keep everything dry thanks to the high-frequency welding that makes all the seams waterproof.
A circumferential, waterproof zipper provides easy access to the main compartment from the front. In the interests of the environment, the Peak Dry 40 is also especially environmentally friendly, as it has no DWR coating and is thus PFC free.
For those who wish to reduce weight on their way to the summit: the hip belt, ice axe holder and lid compartment can be removed completely.

Size Guide:
To determine your back length, use a tape measure to measure yourself from the top of your hip bone to the very top of your back just before the neck. Use the size guide image in the image gallery to calculate your size.

- Separate Safety Compartment: Fast Access to emergency gear through a separate front compartment. Probe and shafts sleeves are marked with icons. Fasten the shovel, with the sharp edge up, at the front of the compartment.
- A-skifix: Classic Side Ski Fastener using the compression straps.
- Ice Axe Attachment: place the pick of the axe into the icon compartment and fix it with the clips. then attach the shaft by fitting the additional velcro strap (found in the lid strap (found in the lid compartment) through the slots on the front panel.
- Hiking Pole Attachment: Poles can be attached to the front of your pack.
- Helmet Net: The helmet net can be found in the foremost compartment. Hook the helmet net hooks onto the small loops near the ice axe fixation and on the slot compartment, these are also indicated by small icons.
- Rope Attachment: Use fixation strap (located in the middle compartment) and fit two half-moon hooks through the loops (one is hidden in the little top compartment) on the upper side of the pack. Open buckle, catch the loop above middle compartment, close the buckle again and tighten the strap.
- Gear Loops: Ice axe, hiking poles and your shovel can be attached to the front to save more room in the pack.
- Map Compartment: Special compartment stores your map for quick access when out in the backcountry.
