A high level of comfort, even on long tours. And the AVABAG LiTRIC tour line’s features are perfectly tailored to ski touring. A circumferential zipper for quick access to the main compartment, and features such as ski, splitboard and rope attachments or an ice axe holder are all close at hand.
To keep ensure they weigh as little as possible, Ortovox use extremely lightweight yet scruff resistant fabrics.
Avalanche airbag backpacks in the AVABAG LiTRIC Tour line are versatile companions for all of these activities. Available in two back lengths, the backpack BASE can be combined with all of the AVABAG LiTRIC Tour and Freeride Zip attachments of the same back length.
The lightweight Full Contact Light Back System provides a high level of comfort even on long tours.
Ortovox Avabag LiTRIC Tour 40 Litre Zip-on Inside (Interior):
Easy Testing and No Travel Limitations - The electric system can be fully charged via USB-C in approx. 25 minutes and activation can be tested any number of times at no additional cost. The lack of a cartridge means: more room, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal, no travel limitations.
Compact System - A design that has been carefully considered right down to the last little detail: super-capacitors instead of cartridges and an ultra- lightweight airbag – at just approx. 1,080 grams, LiTRIC is one of the lightest airbag systems on the market.
Easy Operation and Simple to Pack Away - From charging and the LED display, to the activation handle, to airbag packing and the leg loop: LiTRIC AVABAGS are extremely intuitive to operate.
TÜV Certified and Multiple Activations - One charge enables at least two activations. The approx. 60h operation time when switched ON (30 days when switched OFF) allows for multi- day tours with no need for recharging. Its operating temperature ranges from -30 to +45°C.
The Base & Zip-on:
The Tour Zip-on is built for purpose, these can be used for a quick tour after work to single day tours, through to multi-day tours. The tour zip ons come in the following sizes:

LiTRIC Base: The Tour Base combines light weight with outstanding stability. It is designed for versatility, provides all the required attachment options, has a separate safety compartment, and is extremely comfortable for long ascents.
The base is also compatible with the Freeride zip-ons.

Safety compartment: Access to the compartment is marked with the red zipper pullers. Probe and shaft receiver are marked with icons. Place the shovel blade with the sharp edge up.
Electric LED Display Airbag system: The Charge Level of the airbag and on/off display can be clearly seen even in glaring daylight.
Deployment Handle: The handle can be quickly and easily secured by turning it 180 degrees. Height adjustable handle.
Chest strap with a signal whistle: Quickly draw attention in emergency situations.
Water-resistant zipper: Repelling moisture for secure and dry contents.
Hydration system compatible: Push drink bladder into the slot on the carry system interior and secure with a strap and flat-front buckle. Lead the tube through the outlet by the right shoulder strap and fix it with the rubber band.
Bright inside: Light Colours inside make it easier to find your avalanche safety equipment.
Ice Axe Attachment: Place the pick of the axe into the icon compartment and fix it by closing the straps. Then attach the shaft by using the elastic cords, hidden in the two small compartments near the foremost zipper.
D-Skifix: A fast and safe diagonal ski fastener that offers plenty of wear comfort.
Snowboard and Snowshoe attachment: Connect the lower straps with the metal nose and the small lop above the icon compartment. The upper part can be found in the compartment above the left shoulder strap. Disconnect the metal half-moon and feed it through the loop by the right shoulder strap. Fit the board / Snowshoes and close the buckle.
Access to main compartment (Front): Quick access to emergency equipment / Accessories through the Front.
Wide Hip Belt: Wide and elasticated, for an optimal body-hugging fit, even when in motion.
Helmet Net: Fixed in a zipped compartment, optimized fastening.
Separate Safety Compartment: Quick access to emergency equipment.
