The Jetforce airbag technology is a state-of-the-art airbag system, which electronically inflates your Airbag. This means that you are not restricted to a single-use airbag. Instead, all you need to do is stuff the deflated airbag back into your pieps or black diamond backpack, and your ready to use it again.
We’ve got good news, as this technology has been taken to the next level with JetForce 2.0. The latest progression of the innovative JetForce Technology is smaller, lighter, boasts Bluetooth capabilities & Zip-on Boosters.
There are a number of ways this differs from the first version. You can expect…
We all know the first Jetforce version was a little on the heavy side, but this is one of the main benefits associated with JetForce 2.0.
It is much lighter than the first version, designed for free riding, downhill and backcountry touring, the packs offers a much more convenient weight when moving your gear from resort to resort. For more details on weight please see comparison table below.

You can now easily update your JetForce 2.0 firmware via the Pieps App, All you need to do is download the Pieps App and connect your Jetforce 2.0 via Bluetooth.
You can download the App from the App Store and Google Play.
Another improvement that comes with the JetForce 2.0 version is the long-life of the battery.
It offers 500 charge cycles, which guarantees a low self-discharge and long lifetime, providing better properties in terms of storage.
If that was not enough, JetForce 2.0 features an intelligent battery management system (BAS). This ensures optimal battery performance by working with the temperature sensors.
With the new version of JetForce, you can benefit from a flexible booster zip-on system. You can simply unzip one capacity bag and add on another, whether that be a 10 litre for freeriding, 25 litre for small day tours or 35 litre for a long tour lasting several days.
There is a lot to love about this part of the product.
Not only does it allow you to change your capacity of your bag but all of the boosters offer safety gear compartment with a yellow-market zipper.
Plus, it comes with a sternum strap and integrated emergency whistle for enhanced protection, as well as an ice axe attachment, ski carrying system diagonal, special helmet holder, and a front loading accessories pocket,
It also has a leg-loop with an easy-to-use carabiner clip for quick attachment.
A common question we get asked at snowsafe is “what gear can I fit in the different capacity sizes e.g 10, 25, 35 litres”. Snowsafe breakdown what gear will fit in each size:

The JetForce 2.0 system differs from the Alpride E2 system. Its still an electrical fan based airbag but it is uses a super capacitor and is charged via both AA batteries and a Micro USB.
Scott airbags and ABS also use this system too, which will enable you to get a better understanding of it.
